Gallery of old prints - page 1These are historic prints of Burnham-on-Crouch in Essex. All these antique pictures are from photographic postcards produced around the turn of the 19th/20th century. They are all from the collection of Michael Head, a well known postcard collector from Burnham-on-Crouch. Due to their great age, many of the old prints were badly faded or damaged but these images have all been carefully restored by Matt & Gloss photography, who are well known in the area for their antique photo restoration service. You can now buy high quality prints made from any of these images directly online. They are printed on archival quality photographic paper and delivered next day to your door by first class post. Things have changed a little since those days. Although the clock tower is still there, the building is no longer a school and sheep don't graze in front of the church any more. Also, shopping was clearly a different experience in bygone years. | |||||
